State of Confusion

unique handbound alphabet book

39 pages

December 2016:

This book started with images that I culled from a collage book that I made in India in 2007. Here these same images have been recycled in a random order with no apparent structure. This lack of alphabetical organization, as well as the fact that these images have had a prior life, creates a document with a heightened sense of misinformation, something without focus: a true state of confusion.

A note about the word misinformation: in 2016, when I used it in the index notes of this book, this was just a word and had not yet become the political bête noire that it is now unfortunately.
