Sixty One Words

In Marrakech, in 2021, I started a list of all the words that I had used in my alphabet books since 2013, a total of 118 words. The first part of the project used these words in some drawings, called Map Culture. After returning to Morocco in the spring of 2022, I still had 61 words unaccounted for, not included in the drawings, so I made this simple collage book to complete the series.

As always, this project was never completely finished as there are both repeats and new words. My work, like life itself, is sadly not perfect.
